Description : Exceptional Victorian solid Mahogany slant or drop front desk. Fantastic quality, 4 small upper drawers hand dovetail front & back, the center compartment finished with a carved North Wind face door which locks. The drop front door with carved detail also locks and the interior is nicely fitted. The large bottom drawer is very nicely carved and this desk has all of the great original hardware. The sides are shaped and carved with open mouth Lions heads, the desk has a lower shelf under and is set on carved hairy paw foot
