Console Table Burl Walnut Mid Victorian

Victorian Burl Walnut console or hall table. The top is beautifully grain Burl Walnut with the edge have an inlaid border. There is some lifting of the burl veneer in the center of the top fairly typical for the age. This console table has many interesting qualities such as the several panels of floral medallions the large scrolling brackets the twin outset columns having acanthus carved capitals fluting and floral carved plinth base ending on acanthus carved scrolling brackets and set on squashed bun foot. This console table is fitted with a single drawer having lovely floral and foliate carved pull on the bottom edge. There are also carved hanging acorns on each of the front corners and the lower central section is a beautiful Burl Walnut panel. There have been previous restorations on this table but overall it is in very nice condition
