Mahogany 2 Door Bookcase

Victorian solid Mahogany two door bookcase. This case has a beautifully carved scrolling acanthus & floral cornice with stylized shell crest and is finished with open mouth lions heads on the corners. The twist turned and foliate carved corner posts are finished with capitals and the bottom apron is gadroon carved. This bookcase is set on carved knee cabriole legs ending on paw foot.
