Mahogany Partners Desk - R J Horner

Impressive Victorian solid Mahogany North Wind partners desk or library table. We will attribute this desk to R J Horner and will date it to about 1890. The desk is in excellent condition we have had it professionally refinished ready to go into your home. The desk is serpentine top front back and sides. The top is beautiful ribbon grain Mahogany with an inset border of carved scrolling acanthus foliage. This desk is a partners desk there are 10 drawers in total 5 on each front and back all finished with carved scrolling acanthus foliage and shell carved pulls. The sides are beautifully finished with carved North Wind face and scrolling acanthus foliage. This desk is set on acanthus carved knee cabriole leg and ends on carved ball & claw foot
