Morris Chair L & J G Stickley Tiger Oak

Signed L & J G Stickley Arts + Crafts / Mission quarter sawn Oak Morris chair. This chair has a heavy bow shaped back which reclines by adjusting the bar onto one of the four posts on the back of the heavy arms and the back is held onto the chair at the back of the seat by the large dowel pins. The heavy arms angle in at the back the front and back posts are exposed up thru and finished under with corbel brackets front and back. The seat front rail with beveled top edge and the seat frame is pin & tenon. This chair has the metal makers tag " THE WORK OF L & J G STICKJLEY"
