The posts are outset fluted and finished atop with very crisply carved acanthus capitals and ending on tall panel plinth base. The mantel shelf is bow shaped with a very nicely carved shelf bracket under. The mantel face is finished with twin swags of carved ribbon bows hanging bell flowers & flower
