54" Round Oak Split Pedestal Dining Table

54" round solid tiger Oak split pedestal dining table with 4 leaves. The top opens smoothly and all four leaves fit flat and straight into the top. This table is set on a large round split pedestal column ending on a quatrefoil base which is where the center leg is enclosed when the table is in the closed position. The center leg adds great stability to the top when in the fully open position. The table is set on a square pad foot

    We bought a table from Dennis in late 2010. About a year later, my daughter caused some damage to the table. Dennis thought she might have exacerbated a hairline crack. Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days. It is a delight to deal with someone who looks after the customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Antiques by Design.
