Significant early Victorian burl Walnut Inlaid tilt top loo / center table. This table is in magnificent condition with some very early and professional restorations done. The top having wonderful stringing and stylized foliate inlaid marquetry. The pins are original and the base is beautifully carved with four turned and fluted pillar supports set on finial circular central section. The base has wonderful deep acanthus and roll carved knee ending on scroll carved foot

    We bought a table from Dennis in late 2010. About a year later, my daughter caused some damage to the table. Dennis thought she might have exacerbated a hairline crack. Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days. It is a delight to deal with someone who looks after the customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Antiques by Design.
