Federal Mahogany Paw Foot Arm Chair
American Federal Mahogany arm chair. The frame is crisply carved the back crest with deeply carved torche bell flowers acanthus foliage and C scrolls. The heavy arms are upholstered roll shaped with the S shaped fronts having carved scroll & acanthus decoration. The seat front is finished with Egg & Tongue and Gadroon carved borders as well as the carved torche acanthus foliage & C scroll carved crest. This chair is set on 4 carved paw feet. The frame is solid and tight and the sprung seat in very good condition. The Paisley type fabric is vintage and still in overall good condition.
