Federal Mahogany Paw Foot Settee - Sofa

American Federal Mahogany settee or sofa. The frame is crisply carved the back crest with deeply carved torche bell flowers acanthus foliage and C scrolls. The heavy arms are upholstered roll shaped with the S shaped fronts having carved scroll & acanthus decoration. The seat front is finished with Egg & Tongue and Gadroon carved borders as well as the carved torche acanthus foliage & C scroll carved crest. This settee is set on 4 carved paw feet. The frame is solid and tight and the sprung seat in very good condition. The Paisley type fabric is vintage and still in overall good condition. We also have the matching arm chair listed for sale
