Vintage bureau plat or writing desk in the Louis XV style. Solid hardwood ebonized and paint decorated finish and tooled leather top. The desk is serpentine front back and sides. The desk has three drawers and inside one is the tag " American of Martinsville" The brass ormolu mounts are all in nice condition and the desk is very clean inside and out

Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days.
