Mission Arm Chair - Cortland

Mission or Arts + Crafts solid quarter sawn Oak slat back arm chair. This chair was made by Cortland with the characteristic chunky appearance. The chair has a bow shaped slat back with an arched crest rail. The heavy arms finished with slats under. Pin & tenon throughout as well as exposed thru tenon mortised. The front apron is arched and the drop in sprung seat professionally re upholstered

    We bought a table from Dennis in late 2010. About a year later, my daughter caused some damage to the table. Dennis thought she might have exacerbated a hairline crack. Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days.
