Sideboard Victorian Quarter Sawn Oak Paw Foot

American quarter sawn Oak sideboard of Horner or Flint quality. This Victorian sideboard has an upper gallery back finished with deeply carved scrolling acanthus foliage and Egg crest. Beside the half round bevel mirror are corner panels of carved flowers and the heavy round posts are nicely turned and fluted. The base on this sideboard is fitted with 2 small drawers over a large drawer and cupboard below. The top drawers are roll front the large drawer has a carved central section and the pulls are carved motifs of shell & foliage. The bottom door fronts are panel with crisply carved torchere and scrolling acanthus foliage. The cabinet is set on carved paw foot
