Slat Back Oak Arm Chair - Mission

Mission Arts + Crafts tiger Oak slat back arm chair . The crest rail on this chair is arched on each end and is pin & tenon finished with slats under to the seat rail. The heavy arms bulge out at the front and the posts are exposed thru the arms pinned cathedral cut and finished with corbel brackets under. We have had the original drop in sprung seat professionally re upholstered. We also have the matching rocking chair listed for sale

    We bought a table from Dennis in late 2010. About a year later, my daughter caused some damage to the table. Dennis thought she might have exacerbated a hairline crack. Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days. It is a delight to deal with someone who looks after the customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Antiques by Design.
