Victorian Mahogany standing bearded Lions head window or fireside bench. We have had this bench professionally reupholstered in a Chartreuse green silk velvet. The legs on this bench are exquisitely carved with standing bearded open mouth lions with beautiful scrolling acanthus foliage and ending on really nicely carved paw foot

    We bought a table from Dennis in late 2010. About a year later, my daughter caused some damage to the table. Dennis thought she might have exacerbated a hairline crack. Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days. It is a delight to deal with someone who looks after the customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Antiques by Design.
