L & J G Stickley tiger Oak Arts + Crafts / Mission rocking chair. This chair is signed 'THE WORK OF L & J G STICKLEY' with the white paper label and is the Model 817 with bow shaped slat back. The front posts exposed thru the arms cathedral cut and pinned finished under with long corbel brackets. We have had the original drop in sprung seat professionally reupholstered.

    We bought a table from Dennis in late 2010. About a year later, my daughter caused some damage to the table. Dennis thought she might have exacerbated a hairline crack. Dennis drove close to two hours to our house, examined the table, took it to a craftsman to be repaired, and paid for the repair himself. That is a level of service that one rarely sees these days. It is a delight to deal with someone who looks after the customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Antiques by Design.
