Victorian Mahogany Bookcase With Drop Front Desk

Exceptional Victorian Mahogany lions head paw foot double door bookcase / drop front desk side by side cabinet. The heavy top crown is S shaped with carved scrolling acanthus foliage & protruding open mouth lions head. This cabinet has a small double door glass enclosed cupboard with twist carved columns & capitals beside. There are 2 roll front drawers above the drop front desk which is nicely fitted. Under are 3 drawers, the top is roll front, the bottom 2 with concave fronts and beside these drawers are carved standing lions. The cabinet has 2 glass door bookcase sections which have a fine rope twist carved border and shelves inside. This magnificent cabinet is set on four carved paw feet
