Vintage Mahogany Inlaid Carved & Paint Decorated Dresser

Vintage Mahogany serpentine inlaid carved & paint decorated dresser with hanging mirror. This is one part of a 9 piece bedroom suite which we have had professionally gone over cleaned and retouched where needed. The mirror as you can see is sitting tilted on the top of the dresser for picture taking but is to be hung above on the wall. This mirror is in really good condition bright and clear set into the heavily carved and shaped frame with good original paint decoration. The chest of drawers is constructed of Mahogany and the cabinet woods used to finish are ribbon grain Mahogany Satinwood and Walnut with inlaid borders. The front & back posts nicely adorned with acanthus leaf & flowers. The serpentine shaped sides finished in a similar manner to the top with panels of ribbon grain Mahogany Satinwood and Walnut with inlaid borders. The serpentine shaped front of the dresser is lovely again with the use of the same woods as the top and sides also the beautiful addition of the inlays on the drawer fronts and the secret top center drawer finished with the carved foliage & floral applique and the bottom of the lowest drawer with a carved shell. The pretty cast pulls are all original.  The aprons on the sides and front are finished with swags and appliques of carved foliage & flowers and the chest is set on carved acanthus knee and scroll foot. The dresser has two smaller drawers on either side of the carved small hidden center drawer and 2 large drawers below. The suite is very nice quality craftsmanship. The last image is of the suite all together which we would love to keep it that way but understand it is allot of furniture for smaller homes today so we have each piece priced separately as well

Smaller packages weighing up to 100 LBS we ship by Greyhound Package Express to the closest terminal to your address which is where you will pick up from. For all larger pieces we ship by blanket wrap movers to your address.
