Signed L and J G Stickley Quartered Oak Even Arm Settle

Signed L & J G Stickley Handcrafts Arts + Crafts quartered Oak even arm settle. This is a wonderful settle and is the Model 229 as seen in the Handcraft Furniture Catalogue. The settle with very heavy deep back crest & seat rails as well as large and chunky posts. The front and back posts joined by heavy top and bottom rails and finished with two heavy slats on either end. The construction is pin & tenon and the front seat apron or rail with arched bottom edge. We have had the original drop in sprung seat professionally re upholstered and three loose feather cushion made. The makers red label is on the back of the seat rail

We ship to most areas across Canada and throughout the United States. Smaller packages weighing up to 100 LBS we ship by Greyhound Package Express to the closest terminal to your address which is where you will pick up from. For all larger pieces we ship by blanket wrap movers to your address.
