I picked up my rocker last night and we love it! Thanks very much and I look forward to making more purchases. It fits right in with out other furniture and we'll be looking out for another heavy man's rocker (wavy arm).

Stickley Brandt Modern Craft Mission Oak Rocking Chair
Stickley & Brandt Modern Craft Style Mission Arts + Crafts quartered Oak rocking chair. This is an amazing rocker with the over sized front posts and is a pleasure to have it here in our inventory. The design is quite intricate one that was not a copy from his brothers but rather his own design. The bow shaped back which has cut-outs on the heavy bow shaped crest rail and huge 4 1/2" deep exposed thru mortise tenons & pinned to the back post. The crest rail is finished under with 3 heavy slats the center one is even wider than the 2 outside and has cut-out detail at the top. The arms are very large measuring 5 1/4" wide at the front having a 5" deep exposed thru mortise tenon to the front post. The 5 3/4" deep front posts are very unusual and have a fantastic appearance from the sides. We have had the drop in sprung seat professionally re upholstered. The seat rails on this chair are deep and the front is finished with a 4" deep exposed thru mortise tenon & pinned to the front posts. The Stickley Brandt Company made the 3 piece parlor suite which consisted of a settee rocker and chair
