Victorian Mahogany R J Horner Griffin Carved Rocking Chair

Victorian Mahogany R J Horner Griffin carved rocking chair. The rocker is in beautiful refinished condition with no repairs necessary. The detail is top notch with the large oval bow shaped solid Mahogany back having floral foliate and c scroll top edge and joining to the side posts beside with c scroll top and bottom edge. The wonderful open mouth carved Griffin heads are on the top of the back posts and acanthus carved beard below just where the rear of the arm joins. The arms on this rocking chair are large and have a great scroll to them. The solid Mahogany seat is shaped and finished with a carved front seat apron. The chair is set on cabriole style front legs with turns side spindle stretchers and the rockers are in good condition

We ship to most areas across Canada and throughout the United States. Smaller packages weighing up to 100 LBS we ship by Greyhound Package Express to the closest terminal to your address which is where you will pick up from. For all larger pieces we ship by blanket wrap movers to your address.
