Art Deco Burl Walnut & Inlaid Liquor Cabinet

Art Deco Burl Walnut & inlaid liquor cabinet / writing desk on stand. This is an amazing cabinet in really wonderful as found condition all complete. The original light and cord still in working condition. The burl Walnut is lovely and the inlay all in very good condition. The cabinet with two large doors which are finished with inlaid with Egyptian style figures on the exterior and beautifully grain Walnut and inlay banding on the inside. The inside of the upper liquor cupboard is wonderfully finished with Bird's Eye Maple and floral inlaid detail on the top edge. The ceiling on the interior with the original light and cover all of the original glass shelving and holders & original mirror back with etched lattice overlay. Under the Bird's Eye Maple shelf is a desk section with a bank of 4 small drawers and a vertical paper storage. Under the upper cupboard is a pull out glass work surface with pull out bracket under for support. There are 2 smaller drawers on either side of the pull out bracket. All of the drawers are dovetail front and back and finished with banding & floral inlay. The upper cabinet sits on the base or stand and is secured by dowels. The stand is beautifully finished with shaped & acanthus carved aprons and raised on four tall cabriole ending on scroll carved foot. Just a wonderful piece of furniture this is

Smaller packages weighing up to 100 LBS we ship by Greyhound Package Express to the closest terminal to your address which is where you will pick up from. For all larger pieces we ship by blanket wrap movers to your address.
