Victorian Lions Head Carved Quartered Oak Executive Desk

Victorian Lions head carved quartered Oak executive desk / library table. This table is masterfully carved through out and has been professionally refinished back to what it looked like over 100 years ago. The top with a wide inset border of carved scrolling foliage and carved lunette edge. The top is finished with a deep apron which is elaborately carved and finished with the carved open mouth Lions heads on the four corners. This table is fitted with a long drawer on the front and is called a blind drawer as it does not have a handle or pull. You reach under the desk in the center and there is a notch where you can pull open the inconspicuous drawer. The top is generously supported by the four heavy round turned baluster acanthus carved and fluted legs set on square mask carved blocks and round egg & Tounge avoid above the round carved paw style foot. The legs are joined to the large side and cross stretchers which have foliate carved borders with medallions of the Egg on the top and sides

We ship to most areas across Canada and throughout the United States. Smaller packages weighing up to 100 LBS we ship by Greyhound Package Express to the closest terminal to your address which is where you will pick up from. For all larger pieces we ship by blanket wrap movers to your address.
