Dental Cabinet Victorian Quartered Oak

Victorian quartered Oak dental cabinet. The cabinet is in beautiful refinished condition with no repairs needed. The cabinet has raised panel sides on the 2 lower tiers. The top tier with an open gallery shelf above having side panels with open shaped cut outs on either end and fluted front post. The center on this top tier is fitted with an S shaped front flip down surface with many small holes for which purpose I am not sure? Below is a small tambour front enclosed compartment fitted inside with 3 cubbies and the work surface in front is a good size with the front and side edges being finished with a carved Egg & Dart border. The next tier down is inset with beautiful round turned corner posts having acanthus carved capitals. The larger tambour front with lock & key rolls up to reveal the 20 specimen drawers and 1 pull out work slide with all of the original decorative knobs. The bottom tier on this fine cabinet is fitted with five drawers two raised panel front on either side of the deep flat front central drawer and all the original decorative pulls. Under the drawers are two raised panel front doors enclosed open cupboards inside. The drawer bottoms are Birds Eye Maple and this is a wonderful cabinet using for many uses in the home or office
