Mahogany Victorian 2 Piece Glazed Door Bookcase

Victorian 2 piece Mahogany glazed door bookcase. This cabinet is in great original finish solid & tight condition. The top section with angled cornice having lambs tongue molding above the two original bevel glazed doors flanked by fluted pilasters with floral and acanthus carved capitals. This top section finished with raised panel sides and sits on the bottom securely. The doors open to reveal the large interior cabinet with panel back and the four standards fastened to the corners where the cut-outs fit to hold the shelf in place making the three Mahogany shelves adjustable.  The top section is stepped back from the bottom section which is also finished with raised panel sides and fitted with two smaller drawers over the two door cupboard below. The base cabinet is finished with a bevel top edge and an egg & dart carved frieze the drawers and doors flanked by fluted pilasters. The drawers and doors have raised panel fronts and the drawers with hand cut dovetail construction. The two bottom doors open to reveal the large cupboard inside with a removable shelf.  This is a very nicely made bookcase

Smaller packages weighing up to 100 LBS we ship by Greyhound Package Express to the closest terminal to your address which is where you will pick up from. For all larger pieces we ship by blanket wrap movers to your address.
